I have known Wendy for many years in a professional capacity and delighted that she has now joined the Awbery team as part of our Associate base. Wendy is a results driven, commercially focussed HR professional who is current in her thinking. Wendy takes time to understand the culture of the organisation and the challenge presented to her. Wendy and I met as fellow participants on the Professional Coaching Skills Certificate course. I was coached by Wendy through a time of personal career transition and felt completely supported and listened to. She created rapport and trust, which allowed real exploration of what was important to me and enabled me to challenge beliefs and assumptions which were getting in the way. In the end I was able to create a good ending to one role and a clean start to the new role. It would have been easy for Wendy to draw on her extensive HR experience to offer me advice and solution – however the real value for me was her holding the space open for me to create my own solutions
